Dornie to Orkney Islands
Departing Dornie, we again traveled over a one-lane road with "passing places", passing Loch Carron.  At one passing place, we met an articulated lorrie (an 18-wheeler).  That was fun.

We had a break for lunch in Dornoch.  In Thurso, we passed the Russian Circus open for business.

At Gill's Bay, we waited for the Pentland Ferry to arrive, boarded, and set sail across the Pentland Firth to St. Margaret's Hope on Orkney and from there drove across several islands and causeways to Kirkwall.
