Edinburgh
	The Castle in Edinburgh sits high on the crest of a hill.  From the Esplanade in front of the Castle a street, called the Royal Mile, runs gradually down a ridge to Holyrood House.  The ground falls away sharply on each side of the ridge.  Holyrood House is the residence of the Royal Family whenever any of them are in Edinburgh. Next to Holyrood House is Holyrood Park.  A large field in the park, adjacent to Holyrood House, was the site for most of the activities of Homecoming Scotland 2009. On the other side of the park is another tall hill, known as Arthur's Seat.  This is the site of the Affair of the Wild MacRaes, a significant event in the history of the Clan MacRae.
